Aiha higurashi and Loves!. Bio

started in 2005.

Aiha Higurashi (Guiter , Vocal and keyboard) , who was concentrating on
her solo career after Seagull Screaming Kiss Her Kiss
Her stopped performing as a band, contacted Takahiko Akiyama (Drum Fresh! and KAREN),
who she knew from before, and Keishiro Iwatani,
who was one of her solo project support members.
They formed under the name of ‘Loves. ‘and performed live shows.

They performed in Tokyo, Koyto, and also participated in a rock festival in Thailand in October 2006.
Loves. became known for its powerful performance and elaborate sound.

March 2007, Loves. released its first album, “Lucky Me that contains 13 songs.
Kentaro Nakao (ex: number girl bassist) and Hiroshi Nakamura (Saxophone) participated
in the recording as support members.

October 2007, Loves. contributed a brand new song, “Naked Me to a movie, “
Welcome to the Quiet Roomdirected by Suzuki Matsuo.
During their constant live shows ,
They changed their name into Aiha
Higurashi and LOVES! and Aiha started her own label [ chance! dance! Record]
Their new album called [NOW is the
Time! ]is now on sale. (DDCZ 1542)
¥2415(include tax).
They are now making new songs for the next album.And keep doing shows all over Japan.
AIHA HIGURASHI and Loves! is the band that everyone wanted, but never existed in Japan.

1992 - Aiha started a band, Seagull Screaming Kiss Her Kiss Her, released independent albums,
and performed live shows.

1995 Masaya Nakahara (Bouryoku Onsen Geisha) produced "Give Them Back to Me" and it was released by Hate It,
Damn It Records.

1996 A single, "Fly" was released by Trattoria/Polystar, which Keigo Oyamada (Cornelius) was the leader of.
Since then, Seagull Screaming Kiss Her Kiss Her released four singles, four albums, one live album,
and one video through Trattoria.

Seagull Screaming Kiss Her Kiss Her was also favored by many foreign artists,
such as Beck and Sonic Youth and Courtney Love,Jon spencer and blues explosion ,Boss hogg .
Seagull Screaming Kiss Her Kiss Her toured in the U.S. six times, in Taiwan once,
and also performed with Sean Lennon.
They also participated in the Fuji Rock Festival.

2002 Seagull Screaming Kiss Her Kiss Her stopped performing as a band.
However, even after their decision to stop, an album was released from Cherry Red record label in England,
and Aiha was interviewed by a British magazine, FACE. That proved her high reputation.
